Christian Worldview and Business

Introduction

Background

Christianity (from Ancient Greek Christos, "Christ" literally " the anointed ") is a religion Abrahamic monotheistic based on the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth as presented in the biblical canon and other writings of the New Testament .followers believe that Jesus is the Son of God and the Messiah (or Christ )prophesied in the Old Testament , who died for the redemption of the sins of mankind, and rose again three days after his death(Wayne, 2006).

Efforts to understand the relationship between religion and the business school curriculum require a review of the larger issue of religious liberty. For the past 2 decades, religious liberty has intersected public education in America in ways more divisive than uniting. The polarization of conservative Christians seeking to advance particular interpretations of the Bible within the business schools versus those citizens advocating for a religion-neutral and secular arena has grown wider and wider(Whitney,2007).

Baptists

Baptist is considered Christians Baptism. The Baptist name originated with derogatory intent by detractors. Possibly first used this term in the German language (Taufer - Baptist) in the sixteenth century, to discredit the movement that opposed infant baptism. In the seventeenth century was used in English in Great Britain. Baptist or Baptist churches are a group of churches Christian evangelical, linked by a common belief and church organization. In its early days as a designation were persecuted by both Catholics and other Protestant churches. Baptists emphasize the need for faith and genuine staff in Jesus Christ for salvation, put special emphasis on the principle of salvation by grace through faith (but consider that the true belief entails a commitment associated with good works , which is a consequence and not the cause of salvation) and Divine Grace for salvation. In addition, emphasize the personal commitment of the faithful to Christ and his acceptance as Lord and Savior of the believer. With these requirements, it is necessary to enter the Church (as a step of obedience and not as a requirement for salvation) the baptism of adult believer, by immersion in water. Baptism is preceded by a public profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Christian world view on Business and world economy

Bible say that we insist that when you call the God is same as servant in the role of a Christian businessman and it is high calling that it needs immense personal commitment and when a person called to function in business. God will donate a much of his grace and blessing to activities as He would calling includes to those professions considered full time ministries.

We reject that involvement in business is anything is less than full time service for Christian.

The importance of establishing a world view message .it means learning that how to dispute against the isms of the day. The world view of Christian is not restricted at giving the answers for intellectual questions .it means following principle of bible in the practical sphere and personal spheres of life.
