Abstract

In this study we study the religion of Christianity. With almost two billion professed supporters worldwide, Christianity is actually the biggest belief in the world. It has overridden western heritage for centuries and continues the most belief of Europe and the Americas. Christian conviction hubs on the life of Jesus of Nazareth, an educator and healer of first-century Palestine.

Introduction

Belief systems, or religions, are possibly the strongest force in society. Beliefs are significant to each belief because they are what make each belief one-by-one and special. Each belief has its own convictions and sacred texts, though most share some concepts. In the Middle East, the three large world religions—Judaism, Christianity, and Islam—all share some likenesses and differences. Judaism very powerfully leverages the doctrines Christianity and Islam. The Muslim and Christian beliefs share numerous notions and convictions, while at the identical time they have foremost dissimilarities in some localities of faith (David, 1979, 33).

Discussion and Analysis

Christianity was based in the early 1st 100 years AD, with the educating, miracles, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. Today it is the biggest belief in the world, with round 2 billion followers. Especially superior in the western world, today's Christianity has a broad kind of types, convictions and practices but all center round belief in Jesus Christ.

Sources of Information

The prime source of information about the life of Jesus is the Gospels, four publications in writing by distinct authors 30-100 years after Jesus' death. The Gospels finally became the first four publications of the New Testament.

The Gospels recount a three-year educating and healing ministry throughout which Jesus captivated 12 close disciples and other followers who accepted him to be the Messiah. This is the cornerstone of Jesus' name "Christ," which arrives from the Greek phrase for "Messiah."

Jesus Teachings

Jesus' teachings concentrated on the topics of the kingdom of God, love of God and love of neighbor. Along with some of his teachings, his increasing attractiveness with the masses was glimpsed as unsafe by Jewish devout managers and the Roman government, premier to his execution by crucifixion (Overman, 1967, 146).
