Philanthropist and Polemicist. King born in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States of America and he educated at the Afro-American Morehouse College and Boston University. After becoming a Baptist minister, he served a congregation in Montgomery, Alabama, from 1954. At this period, black Americans were campaigning against segregation and King organised a boycott of buses which resulted in a desegregation order from the Supreme Court. From 19600,he worked full time for the Civil Rights Movement. In 1964 the Civil Rights Bill passed and, he awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
