David Hesselgrave is a retired lecturer of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and previous controller of the School of World Mission at Trinity. Additionally, he was leader of the Evangelical Missiological Society. He has been assisting Christ for over fifty years in the Evangelical Free Church and is the scribe of Theology and Mission and Dynamic Religious Movements. In his publication, Planting Churches Cross-Culturally, Hesselgrave converses about what objective is and how it should take location in diverse locations round the world. He claims that there are 10 steps to the objective or place of adoration cultivating method that was enforced by Christ and conveyed out by Paul. He accepts as factual in the Great Commission, which is to reproduce places of adoration over the globe.

Summary

The reason of Hesselgrave's publication is to illustrate the best approach to church-planting, which is to utilize the missionary procedures of Paul. In the section, “The Heart of the Christian Mission,” Hesselgrave contends that the universal place of adoration is at the heart of the Great Christian Commission. That is, the primary obligation of the place of adoration is to preach the gospel of the Lord and to accumulate believers in a place of adoration where they can nurture their belief in God and be of service to the Lord. In “Planning for Church Planting,” Hasselgrave assists us to realise that God is the utmost planner. He has been designing ever since before creation. His supreme design is for persons to be kept and that should be our design as well. Hasselgrave accepts as factual that there are six steps to productive designing for Christ. The Church-Planting Strategy, furthermore renowned as the Pauline Cycle is comprised of 10 steps to Paul's design of evangelism and place of adoration development. The cycle has a starting and an end, yet each step flows into one another and it should directed to today's churches.

In part two of the publication, Hesselgrave reports us about the significance of having a Christian foremost to navigate the objective of Christ.
