A new manager is starting in the organisation ABC Limited. The company specializes in selling machineries to the big textile industries, as the company has specialization in manufacturing machineries related to textile manufacturing. All small, medium and even large industries are the potential customers of the company who purchase our product (Olson-Buchanan 1997, p. 132). The goal of the organization is to become the leading supplier of industrial equipments to textile industry. However, lack of efficient utilization of material resources is the weakness of the company, whereas, the market saturation is the biggest threat to the company. However, brand image, low-price machineries, after sales service guarantee are the few things that are counted as strength of the company, which creates opportunity for the company to export its products. The company's four core management functions are human resource management; procurement; supply chain and manufacturing are the core functions of the organization (Lip sky 2003, p. 56). The organization follows the hierarchy mentioned in the picture below:

However, the organization has the culture to greet his employees on his joining. The first days as a manager into the company is part of a curiosity and motivation, on the other hand, the feeling is also characterized by disorientation and uncertainty. Especially in the beginning, it is therefore important to for new starter to receive orientation and they quickly integrate into the organizational culture. The more a new employee gets help the more it will help to set up the new manager with the job role. This also helps in reducing uncertainty and they are better able to focus on the work and the quickly learn overall organization culture (Lewis 2001, p. 453).

A formal orientation program must provide the new manager the understanding of how the performance of his job will contributes to the success of the organization, and the way the products or services of the organization contribute to society. While at present digital era, there is a possibility that employee would have knowledge and have formed an opinion about the organization and some awareness of the importance of their work, but it is essential to take their place in that.
