Creating a school environment that is friendly for students with AD / HD, as well as other diverse needs requires careful planning. Students may appear to deliberately avoid work when they lack the skills needed to start the job. Working with these students can be frustrating at times. Teachers advised to keep disability: AD / HD is a disorder that affects the ability of students to initiate and follow through on tasks. These students are not "to get" a teacher, though he may feel that way, so that the teacher during a busy day at school. Teachers need to be responsive to the educational strengths and needs of individual students to ensure that the relevant expectations are established. Strategies presented in this section can help teachers to minimize their frustration and maximize students' ability to learn.
