Introduction

A green and clean city is worth for a healthy and fresh living. Plants and Trees improve our quality of life and our environment. The role of the green economy is at the heart of the concerns of the World Environment Day. The green economy promotes the reduction of risks to the environment and prevents environmental crises. It is now necessary to borrow orientation development for all countries of the world (Keeping & Shiers , 2004).

Today, climate change due to emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions is a major environmental problem in the world.

Historically, increased emissions of greenhouse gases are strongly linked to economic growth, but Singapore is a country that has shown that this relationship is not inevitable. The change brings benefits to the society and enables to cope up with the issues and challenges if the environment (Dobson , 2007). In this case, the population receives benefits obtained as the cities become less polluted. More green in our roads will help us in addressing current big city problems.

The green economy is an essential strategy in these times. It will help to create jobs in order to ensure a sustainable economic development and to counter environmental pollution. The environmental degradation and climate change along with alleviate the depletion of natural resources are the important aspects of clean and green environment. This is the reason; the government should study and create the earlier policies, legal environment and mechanisms for its economy to become greener. The green growth strategy will enable Singapore to mobilize its resources to public and private funding and renew its technology, which also fits perfectly in the framework of international agreements on the fight against climate change (Dobson , 2007).

Background

The main component of the clean environment is a civilized approach for recycling. At all locations the rule applies to mandatory sorting of household waste and industrial waste.
