Introduction

Business communication and diversity plays an important role in the development and effective management of today's workplace. These two are the most important organizational ingredients that enhance the quality and productivity of the workplace relationships that directly supports the organization in getting success. The diversity can become a challenge in the workplace as there are many people who do not want to bring change in their working style. An organization should be very careful in bringing any kind diversity in its workforce and it requires extensive efforts and investment.

Organization should be able to communicate the idea behind workforce diversity and should be able to justify it by providing the workforce with the benefits that they would get after adopting it. An effective evaluation of the organizational communication model and workplace diversity is required only then an organization would be able to achieve the required objectives and goals. There are two kinds of communication used in the workplace those are; formal and informal communication. Both these communication kinds are of great importance within the organizational setup. On the other hand with the help of diversity in the workplace organizational processes and procedures can get improved. This research paper has used the communication and diversity of McDonalds (USA) Company to highlight its effectiveness and affects on its organizational image.

McDonald's is one of the world's largest chain of fast food restaurants that is serving more than 68 million consumers on a daily basis in 119 countries of the world. The head office of McDonald's is in United States and it was established in 1940. At that time their business was mainly barbecue dished but in 1948 the business was changed from barbecue to hamburger. The company's growing success is mainly due to its quality communication strategic model and workplace diversity that is pushing it towards attaining larger and more challenging goals. The growth in the revenues of McDonalds is growing wider along with the operating income. This shows the market value and brand image of the products that are offered by McDonalds for its customer base. McDonald's is operating in various markets of the countries either in a form of corporation, affiliate or a franchise and all that shows the business strength and effective business processes (Borstorff et.al, 2012).
