On the other hand the due process model refers to the rights of the individuals, or the individual liberties it is concerned with limiting the power of the government. This due process model involves more involvement of the private enterprise and less government involvement. In crime control model they give importance to the government to protect the society, and give less liberty to the individuals (Roberson, 2003).

Due process model is the attitude that a person cannot be stripped of life, property or liberty without suitable legal processes and precautions. Any individual that is appointed with a crime is demanded to have their civil rights confined by the criminal justice organization below the due process model.
