Eysenck's model

In psychoanalytic theory, Freud proposed a split personality in three levels: conscious, preconscious and unconscious. Corresponding the ordinary meaning of conscious, being composed of sensations and experiences, Freud attaches special importance in his theory of the unconscious, this level gives the greater influence on behavior as it is home to desires and instincts. Forces influencing driver behavior and forces receptacle in a way that cannot be seen or controlled. The preconscious is the place where stored memory, perception and thought, but are unaware can quickly be brought to consciousness. Within the psychoanalytic perspective although different to that suggested by Freud, is the theory of analytical psychology of Carl Jung, who argued that there are two general types of attitude: extroverts and introverts. Extroverts are people who turn their attention to the world external focus on social life instead of focusing on their inner experience. Instead introverts focus on their own internal thoughts (Morris & Maisto, 2005).

This provision or feature is a tendency of behavior that gives stability and consistency to the actions of subject, as well as their emotional reactions and cognitive styles. This theory is also called dimensional because it proposes the existence of personality factors, such as continuous dimensions on which can individual differences quantitatively available, the dimension is Eysenck a factor for second order or which involves supra factor correlation between first-order factors or traits (Akers and Sellers, 2008). This model supports the criminal in a way that they should be provided proper mental treatment and ...
