Introduction

Africa is the second largest and second most populous continent of the world. Before the World War 2, it was mostly dominated by the European colonies but after the WW2, the local citizens started to demand freedom. Heroes like Nelson Mendella came forward and released the country from the grip of foreign rulers. Americans have dominated the southern parts of Africa for a long time. This is probably the reason why the South of Africa has traces of Americanization and American modernism in its structure, culture and outlook.
