Introduction

The world has become a globalized village, and that, is only possible through the internet. The era has become information age due to usage of cyber space. Cyberspace is defined as “it is the network of computers and other electronic device, to execute a two way internet communication across the globe”. Cyberspace has made everyone capable of posting and uploading, as well as, downloading any data or knowledge from the internet. The concept of cyberspace has blessed the planet Earth with connectivity, regardless, of the location. It has made every type of knowledge and information, accessible and available to everyone. It is the notional and estimated environment that connects two or more computing systems for communication and information exchange. However, cyberspace has provided humankind with freedom to post, in order to, share knowledge (Butler, 2010).

Discussion

Cyberspace has tied the blue planet together, through the mutual flow of information and communication between the computing systems. However, it bears rights and responsibilities being a part of cyberspace. Cyberspace has given s freedom to exchange of information belonging to any genre, however, it is well said that freedom comes with responsibility. Cyber crime has been showing increased figures, irrespective of, numerous firewalls and other numerous initiates in this regard. Cyber bullying, cyber war and other evident changes are taking place in societies due to cyberspace information. The government could only direct the flow through indirect control, and the age has been marked as an age of cyber freedom, with no supervision for users, as such. This shows that a more serious intervention has to be induced; law has to articulated and enforced regarding cyberspace (Shiles, 2006).
