Introduction

David Lewis is one of the most important philosophers of the 20th century, working in the Anglo-American analytic tradition. His body is very breadth of its subject and its systemic nature. For both these reasons, it is difficult to do justice to his work in a short space, is rich in the relationships between the myriad of writings, as well as numerous opportunities entry.
