Linda Pastan is a poet from America and has a Jewish background. Born on May 27, 1932, in New York, she lives in Potomac. She is known for creating small poetry that are mostly focused on aspects like family life, domesticity, motherhood, the female experience, aging, death, loss and the fear of loss, as well as the fragility of life and relationships.
