Psychology is the discipline that studies mental processes, including internal cognitive processes of individuals and social-cognitive processes. The discipline embraces all the complex aspects of human psychic functioning. The different schools, theories and psychological systems have focused their efforts in various areas, existing from approaches that focus exclusively on observable behavior. The scope of the theories covered areas or fields from the study of child development psychology to how humans feel, perceive or think, how they learn to adapt to their environment and resolve conflicts (Lightfoot, 3).

Psychology of Learning

The psychology of learning is the study of the processes that produce relatively permanent changes in individual behavior. The psychology of learning is of great importance in education. Teachers and educators should consider such important aspects as motivation, interests, expectations and needs of students. Developmental psychology is interested in explaining the changes that occur in people over time. Developmental psychology aims to study the description, explanation, and optimization of psychological change in humans that occurs during human development throughout the life cycle (Lightfoot, 3).

Educational psychology is the area of psychology that is dedicated to the study of human education in schools, includes analysis of the forms of learning and teaching. The psychology of human psychological development deals with the changes and development of human behavior, from the prenatal period through adulthood. With this explanation we can know the natural and unnatural changes that occur in human development and psychological changes that occur in animals, but human application.
