Abstract

In this research proposal we will confer the case of e-learning, which is proving out to be an imperative and vital tool for education, a tool which comes along with an immense amount of benefits with it. However, if the research and development projects of e-commerce have to be successful in future to be adopted in the real world learning and teaching contexts, then there is immensely imperative issue which needs to be addressed which is the issues of usability and accessibility of the e-learning projects, and these issues needs to be integrated throughout the development of e-learning projects. In this paper we are going to provide you with an argument that usability and accessibility are linked together in an intrinsic manner. Along, with that in this paper we will provide you with the evaluation of methodology that we have developed during our research. This paper draws attention to a series of the case studies regarding the projects of e-learning which have been undertaken in the United Kingdom in the past ten years.

Introduction

E-learning is the use of information technologies and communication technologies (ICT) to generate, disseminate and manage educational content. In general, the e-learning is associated with the web, but this is not necessarily so. The latest tendencies show that educational content in digital format to go through the web. For this reason, in general terms, one might say that e-learning is the use of information technology, which is specifically linked to the web, so that students can interact with educational content, the teacher interacts with students, and all this through a platform deployed over the Internet, specifically the web.

In today's world e-learning is considered to be an intricate arrangement consisting of different activities, materials, collaborations, and communications of learning. The internet has now become a rapid medium that has paced a major role in the distribution of trainings online, as it has provided a wide range of material to the learners, thus simplifying communication, which has been taking place among the teachers and the learners. The scenario of -e-learning could be distributed into three parts.

Content

It is the material used for e-learning, which ranges from a simple text to a multifarious learning and multimedia objects.

Communication

This includes everything from discussion boards, chatting, and face to face communications, these communications could be either one to one, or one too many, or many to many, these communications could either be synchronous or asynchronous.

Construction

In this scenario users learn using different sets of materials over the internet which involves, writing essays, taking notes, working together as a group on a single project, and doing multimedia presentations
