Scenario

For this Individual project, we create a company that offer people in South America to purchase products in the US for them. Products like cell phones in big quantities, electronics and cloth. Our company gives them some transportation options to send these products but the clients decide and pay apart for the transportation. We work in a cell phone company that sales cell phones to South America and I already have some clients that have trust on us.

Call to Action

There are two examples are liable for promotion of the company. The first is known to be Company itself, and the second, is the distributor. The distributor is also concerned about successful sale of the product. The promotional program takes place in a way that the corporation place promotional advertisements on the television that runs any hour of the day, the advertisements of cell phones is placed according to the target group, advertisements are placed in video game magazines, on the internet, social networking websites and technology & gadget fairs. Furthermore the distributor places advertisements on their booklets, television and in their stores.

Part 1: Analysis

The cell phone market has experienced a growing trend since its launch. It is expected that this trend will tend to grow which is reflected by the fact that the buying and selling of the products have been started through the cell phone medium. Moreover, the mobile is becoming an important channel for customer contact, not only as an advertising channel, but also as a channel of e-commerce and point of contact between brands and consumers.

The company is facing a cut-throat competition in the market since the emergence of Android operating systems for the Smart-phones, and iOS are also estimated to grow its shares in the mobile operating systems, while maintaining their ranks in the operating systems for PC's, laptops, tablets, and tablets. Microsoft is also getting ready with its Windows Phone 8 which will be a major upgrade from previous versions and sure to intensify the competition. Android has been in the leading position for quite some time now, and Microsoft is also tipped to follow Android till 2015, and Samsung has also become the leader in Smart-phones, so it will impact the market shares of Apple if steps are not taken at the earliest (Kerin, 2007).

The company will primarily target teenagers and youngsters but gradually it will serve all the classes of the customers like middle age and elders. As far as the classes are concerned “Company” will target middle, upper-middle and upper class customers. In other words, all classes and all age groups will be targeted gradually. The different models of the phones will be launched in order to cater the needs of all age groups and all classes. The information regarding the customer requirements will be acquired through the research work initially, and the requirements of the current customers of different competitors in the industry will also be considered as initial data.
