This research paper will define the electronic monitoring, such as electronic monitoring of work and discusses the advantages and disadvantages. Electronic monitoring began in 1987. British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Newfoundland are the only provinces in Canada that the use of electronic monitoring (EM) because they were not afraid to embrace new technologies.
