Introduction

The main purpose of this paper is to make an analysis on the discipline and discharging of employees. The paper provides the two examples of the situations related to the discipline and discharging of employees, and discusses that what were the reactions of the employers and if the decisions were fair? Employee litigations are the results of the employee's discipline. It is very necessary for all the employees that they should follow the employee's discipline; else the companies and the employers might take the action of discharging the employees. Following are some examples of the employee discipline and discharge from my own life.

Examples of Discipline and Discharge of Employees

Example 1

One of the examples related to the discipline and discharge is related to my school field. When I was in my school life, one of my class fellows was involved in the harsh behaviour, and he was involved in the violation of the crimes. Thus, school administration has asked him the reasons of such bad behaviour several times, but he did not give them any proper reply. The school administration has conducted several meetings with him and his parents, but still his attitude and behaviour was same. The school administration has sometimes used strict behaviour, and sometimes they used the lenient behaviour with him, but he did not change his attitude (Adkerson, 2000). Therefore, after making all the efforts, the school administration has expelled him from the school.

In order to take the decision of expelling the student from the school, the school administration has followed the complete procedure of human resource, and has fulfilled the HR policies.
