Introduction

The service industry is undergoing massive transformations due, in part, to advances in technology and the metamorphosis occurring in the demographics and diversity of the workforce. Changes in service industry will likely continue at an accelerated pace, and with these changes the need for training will become even more important. The use of technology in training has led to heightened access, faster distribution, innovation, and increased collaboration. However, this increase of technology implies challenges in keeping up with the latest developments in technology, an increased pace of training, depersonalization, and fear of the unknown. With these challenges, understanding what motivates service workers, as well as how leaders motivate the entire organization becomes essential to promote a proper work environment.

Employee motivation

Every organization wants to hire and retain the best quality human resource to maximize in the industry. The dream of any manager is to get the ideal and harmonious work of subordinate staff. In order to make them work effectively and efficiently, it is very necessary to motivate employees and keep them happy (Ambrose, Kulik, 2009). There are several ways to motivate an employee at a workplace. Some of the common motivating sources of employees are mentioned below:

Building

Communication with subordinates of any rank should always keep in good shape, with reverence. The employee must feel its importance in the working process and the team as a whole. It is necessarily recommended from time to time to emphasize on the merits and achievements of staff, both in private conversation, and to other employees. If we are interviewing a new candidate, we must demonstrate the fact of reverence and respect among all team members and management. Friendly and warm attitude towards the new or future employee awakens a desire in him to stay in this team as far as possible. The method of "building" is based on the characteristic of any human factors. In order for our subordinates to do what we want, we should be the first example for them. If we want everyone in a good mood, we need to exclude collective rudeness and intolerance.

The atmosphere in the team

The atmosphere and mood in the team is an important factor affecting the productivity and performance. Any manager should support the team in the mode of mutual aid and interoperability. It is advised to create severe competitive environment and develop a spirit of rivalry as it is one of the most effective ways to improve employee motivation, which allows squeezing the slave out of a maximum of activity. In addition, human relations affect the mood of each employee, which in turn depends on productivity, quality and speed of its work.

If someone from the staff feels oppressed in the workplace, then eventually he may see the idea of ??changing their place of work.
