Introduction

The concept of employee motivation is a vital notion in personnel administration that we must understand, and most of it, master it, just so the company will be able to form a culture that is solid and reliable. While it is true, the following common concepts, for its brevity, it is an expanding source of study of the motivation, support may be optimal when a quick reference, or if what you want is just an introduction to motivation (Eccles, 2002, 132).

Motivation as an Influence in the Workplace

Life is essentially boil, activity and development. All the people in the workplace scenario make an ongoing effort, and usual activities are depicted by even the most lethargic individual. There is a common phenomenon that why the employee would be interested to make efforts. The study of motivation and its influence on the work, then, is nothing else than attempt to find out, from the standpoint of psychology. Therefore, the study of motivation determines the notion that what are the activities, desires and needs of distinct individual. The study of an individual's interest and interaction with the environment gives a definite suggestion for motivating individuals for so portray positive delineations. It is studying the impulses, tendencies and incentives that plague our lives constantly, and our body and we are willy-nilly, to the action (Wright, 1990, 227). Based on this statement one can say that anyone who attempts to answer these questions is trying to explain the motivation. Psychologists who study motivation try to check the explanations of these facts through the experimental study. Some psychologists try to explain the motivation from physiological mechanisms. So important are the discoveries concerning the control of the action parts of the brain as the hypothalamus, the system reticular activating system and libido. Others change the determinants of seeking action in terms of conduct and behavior. Another point to note is that when we talk we are motivated behavior distinctly different from instinctive behavior. (Thomas, 1994, 812)

The concept of motivation is to incline individuals, so they perform the tasks in a better way and thus meet the objectives set by organizations. If this phenomenon prevails in the minds and hearts of individuals, he shows a positive contribution towards organization. Following are some the significant notions that can be used to motivate the human resources of an organization.
