English Grammar

Introduction

Each national language develops its own internal laws, and its grammar has distinctive features. Grammar of Russian and English languages have some similarities, but differ in many respects. Similarities grammar helps us to develop foreign language, and differences in the grammatical system creates certain difficulties in its study. Consequently, the emphasis in the study of grammar of a foreign language must be given to those features that are not observed in the native language.

Teaching grammar - one of the most important aspects of language learning, as without knowledge of grammar or of a complete communication can not be considered. By itself, the vocabulary of a language is not - it merely serves as a building material. Effective tool for vocabulary becomes when placed at the disposal of grammar. Grammar takes something in common, that is the basis of changes of words and word combinations in the linear range, and displays of his rules and laws (Houghton Mifflin English, 2001). Grammar, as well as basic vocabulary, it is very stable, as it is created by native speakers for a long time and developed through the deployment and improvement of the basic elements of an existing and functioning of language.

Authors-compilers have been working on a sample of material from the rich heritage of research in linguistics, and taking into account the practical experience of teaching English (Houghton Mifflin English, 2001). For greater clarity, most of the information given in the form of tables, the most pivotal moments are accompanied by commentary.
