Reflection on Project 3

I always enjoyed literature and creative writing, and spent a lot of time thoroughly enjoying this aspect of the course. I enjoyed drafting essays and reading and listening to the responses it incited in my peers, as well as discussing their works as well. It was a process that not only developed and honed my own attitude about what makes a work truly great, but inspired passion and motivation in me to take it one step further outside of school life as well. I also availed the opportunity to use Facebook in a methodical sense in my writing process, being able to use a social network that is considered the most powerful online tool for communication and the sharing of ideas led me to process my score better and compare it to my peers as well as collaborate with teachers. Although there were no specific instructions by my teachers as to what topic I could partake in, I decided to use this to my advantage and chose to do my assignment on the effect of creative writing in the Advertising world. I received much appreciated help b my peers and teachers during the writing process, and they helped me realize the weak points of my writing and the quality of my drafts, after which I was able to rework and manage my work in workable chunks. I believe I improved my research skills as well in the process of perfecting my creative writing, and was able to expand my knowledge about the right and wrong ways to form copy for advertising.
