In the simplest form entrepreneurship is defined as starting a business from scratch, which includes from the generation of the idea to managing the concept and eventually building the company. Successful entrepreneurs are those who stay ahead of their game and keep innovating their ideas and plans. Being an entrepreneur is not an easy deal it requires someone who can design a business plan, meet and meet goals in all fundamental departments. It is essential for an entrepreneur to have excellent communication skills in order to run a successful team. This paper will focus on the entrepreneur Mark Zuckerberg.

Mark Elliot Zuckerberg was born on the 14th of May 1984 in New York. Born to Edward Zuckerberg a dentist by profession and Karen a psychiatrist He has three sisters, Randi, Arielle and Donna. They were raised in Dobbs Ferry. Zuckerberg was born Jewish he had his bar mitzvah after his thirteenth birthday which is a Jewish tradition according to which a boy becomes accountable for his actions, however later on in life he chose to become and atheist. He joined Ardsley High School and excelled in class and was transferred to Philips Exeter Academy, he won many distinctions and awards for math's, physics and astronomy. He is best known for his computer programming, he became an internet entrepreneur when he became one of the co founders of the networking website Facebook. Currently he is residing in Palo Alto, California (Pilkington, 2011).

There are hardly any people is today's world who are unaware of Mark Zuckerberg. Ever since it was launched in 2004 it has been a craze amongst young people Facebook has a total of 800 million active users. The reason for choosing Mark Zuckerberg is because he is an inspiration for many youngsters who look up to him including myself, he is currently the richest man in the United states all because of an excellent idea that created a whole new world for people (Exploredia, 2011).

Zuckerberg developed his interest when he was in middle school he began using computers for the purpose of writing, in the 1990's his father spent ample amount of time teaching him Atari BASIC programming and eventually after seeing his interest in computers his father hired a software developer David Newman as his private tutor. According to his tutor Mark was instantly brilliant at programming and staying ahead of Mark was always a challenge for David. Mark also took a graduate program in software development from Mercy College while he was still in High School.
