Introduction

Systems enterprise resource planning, or ERP (for its acronym in English, ERP are management IS that integrate and manage most of the businesses associated with the operations of production and distribution aspects of a company committed in the production of goods or services.

Enterprise Resource Planning is a term derived from the Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRPII) and followed by the Material Requirements Planning (MRP). ERP systems typically handle manufacturing, logistics, distribution, inventory, shipments, invoices and accounts of the company. However, Enterprise Resource Planning or ERP software can intervene in the control of many activities of businesses such as sales, deliveries, payments, inventory management, production, quality management and human resource management (Grant, 2006, 77).

ERP systems are occasionally called back office (back office) and indicate that the client and most of the general public are mostly directly involved. This system is in contrast to the open system data (front office), which creates an administrative relationship of the consumer or customer service (CRM), a system that deals directly with customers, or the eBusiness systems such as electronic commerce, electronic administration, electronic communications and e-finance, it is also a system that deals directly with suppliers, providing not only an administrative relationship with them (SRM).

The ERP is working extensively in all types of modern business. All the functional departments, which are involved in the operation or production, are integrated into one system. In addition to the manufacture or production, storage, logistics and information technology, also includes the accounting, and usually include a system of Human Resource Management, and tools marketing and strategic management.

Importance of the study

ERP implementations are the most challenging affair you will almost certainly have to do. They're agonizing and they frequently tear a team apart (and then bring them back together) ahead of going live. Some proclaim that a sizeable ERP implementation project will go live under the third scheme manager! While this is tremendous, it can be seen in large business environments. Augment the circumstance that ERP is not really one system; they are a series of systems including document management systems, barcode systems, report writers, inventory and other bolt-on's. The major challenge is change itself. The transition to new systems, processes and culture of the business are what make or break down the project (Grant, 2006, 33).

Research problem and its significance

The opposite would be considered a simple billing program as an ERP for the simple fact that a company integrates only that ...
