A Scene in a Busy Street

Clanking of hawkers with the hopes of selling, stumbling people from one hawker to another, sound of bargaining, walking women with veils, colourful vegetables are the dawn of busy street. Where one hear of bulldozing shopkeeper for saving pennies that burned one's cheek with the silent charge of showing parsimony dealing. Awkward posters or wall art displaying a look of heap that reflects grumpy attitude of people towards customers. There are many shops on that street selling garments, home appliances, grocery and many more things. Chain of vehicles thumped heavily past, with the slow movement that gathers the attention of walkers on that street. Yell of children, rush here and there without excusing, and clinch of hawker tire is undoubtedly frustrating on the busy street. But a woman in veil is busy in her own seek of some special gift for her husband which is unusual to find in the streets of Afghanistan.

The sound of screaming comes from a shop, where Ayesha, an afghan woman is fighting for few pennies to buy a present for her husband. Many times she counts money but her face reflects its insufficiency. It is very rare to see that an afghan woman is ransacking in herded streets for purchasing a gift for his husband. The society of Afghanistan is male dominant that do not allow their females to roam out. In manlike culture, Ayesha is ransacking over the busy street of market where people are already annoyed to have less selling. A massive noise of people talking to each other along with the fuss created by bikes, cars and other means of transport is also one of the common signs of Kabul busy street.
