Hady is a new employee at MAXI Technology and he is motivated to work hard. As mentioned in the case study Phil is Hady's new boss; Hady has to perform well on his fist assignment to impress the boss. He is under immense pressure to do whatever he is asked for from Phil, because he is a novice and Phil is an experienced employee. Hady has certain expectations and standards regarding the business operations of the firm; where he expects it to function within the ethical boundaries. Phil has asked him to obtain the confidential material of the competitors' proposal and pricing materials. Hady is in a moral dilemma, where he must decide if he should only look out for his company's goal, or should he make the fair and responsible choice?

Short Term Recommendations

In this perspective Hady must make the choice that puts his own company at an advantage, and must ignore any other factors. This act will help the organization in getting a major account and this must by the optimal short term goal.

Integrative Theory

As per the Integrative theory, Hady must seek to take the action which best serves the interests of the company he is representing. And in this case his act of taking the competitors' confidential pricing and proposal data; will help his company take a competitive advantage. Hady must only seek to fulfill the best interest of the firm he is associated with, and the objectives of that firm. Hence Hady must listen to his senior manager and grab the competitors' data.

Long Term Recommendations
