Twelve Angry Men is a story about the murder of father done by his son. The jury had to reach a decision in the case in which all evidence seems to convict the accused. The twelve men, jury member, whom the system presupposes fair, begin to express his personality as all jury members change their opinion and approach towards decision at the request of one of them. Presentation of the testimonies highlight the power of dialogue and logic is crumbling consistency of these accounts. Once in a film, all jury members were together like a puzzle, showing their inconsistency in the decision. The rationality of the protagonist is making its way through the mist of prejudices, passions, motivations, and mood of the other members of the jury (Siegel, 2004). One jury member reflected his opinion to change the decision of other jurors regarding penalizing the boy one by one. However, questions raised by the eighth jury member urged other jurors to ask themselves by positioning the facts from different views on what happened in the situation. This endorses a particular position, offers freedom to the thinking of the jurors, giving moments regarded as paradoxical at the beginning when they entirely made an abrupt decision for charging the boy as guilty (Semple, 2010). Judges did not place emphasis on discussing the facts with other jurors to derive the final decision. This also highlights the similarity for the situations experienced between the judge and the chief defendant. Political implications also surround these trials; the extremes of the arguments of all the participants in this trial are all with a concept that some believe just other patriotic, others said it was his duty (Bowles, 2001).
