Introduction

Ethical issues are circulating in the society, which has gained the individual's attention. Ethical behavior is diminishing with the rise of conflicts and contradictions between individual and individual, individual and society, society and organization, employee and organization, etc. Ethical issues are also emerging at national and international level. The main reason for increased ethical issues is the lack of moral character and ethical behavior, commonly known as unethical behavior. Unethical behavior is an immoral behavior of an individual. An individual, who does not possess upright character, has no moral values, has no societal values, and lacks understanding, is known as an unethical person having unethical behavior. Unethical behavior has an adverse affect on the society as it is the main reason for the rising ethical issues. It has been observed that three external environmental forces are affecting on the society that are political environmental force, technological environmental force, and political environmental force. These three forces are responsible for the increased ethical issues in the society (Carroll and Buchholtz, 2011). There are some popular issues that have gained every individual's attention and researcher's attention that are goods cops perform bad duty, scandal of secret service, and issue of Travon Martin.

Moreover, ethical issues have affected the productivity of several organizations. Issues at the workplace mean issue between employee and employee, employee and employer, or employee and organization. To resolve such issues, “flowing ethical and moral values” is the foremost objective of every organization. Ethical behavior is the central element that every employee should posses. Issues due to unethical behavior takes place in every country.

According to many researchers, ethical issues are present in every country. Individuals in U.S hold positive and valuable thoughts that match with the standards of the ethical code of conduct. Americans usually argue on the ethical issues that are taking place in U.S. There are numbers of issues in American society such as pornography, theft, rape, murder, etc. The survey of Nation Master (2011) showed that United States is ranked at number one among the top most crime listed companies. The total numbers of crimes in U.S in last year were reported to be 11,877,218, which is higher than the crime rate of other countries in the world. In U.S, ethical behavior is the behavior that is comply with the standards of ethical code of conduct and held moral values.

Ethical behavior is the upright character of an individual that leads him or her to make decisions that are suitable and fruitful for him and for the society. A person who performs his duty fairly, honestly, and not for self-interest and his behavior with other individuals in the society is cooperative and collectivistic, is said to have ethical behavior. Law governs the ethical behavior of an individual (Knapp and VandeCreek, 2006). Culture is regarded as a core factor that moulds the behavior and attitude of an individual toward another individual, society, and organization (where that individual works).
