CHAPTER 3: METHODOLOGY
This chapter presents the research design and method adopted to meet the aim of is the dissertation paper. It describes the overall approach to justify the researchers methodological choice used by discussing varies other research approaches.
Ethical and research governance considerations will proceed the search strategy with outlined inclusion and exclusion criteria for this methodology. It will conclude with three themes that have emerged following data analysis. Theses three thematic chapters , based on core yield date will be discussed in chapter 4.
Mixed Research
The technique in which the qualitative and quantitative techniques are used collectively for data collection purpose is called mixed research. Mixed research method is the third most important kind of research. The results of the mixed methodology are more reliable because it is more descriptive in nature.
The concept of compatibility thesis is that the quantitative and the qualitative methods both are related and compatible to each other and their combination can be used to analyze the data in one research. On the other hand the pragmatism philosophy suggest that the techniques used for the data analysis should be such that provide the proper and practical result and the approaches must be applicable in the real world as well. Nowadays the mixed method supporters use the fundamental principles of mixed research and this principle suggests that the researcher must use such approaches which collectively have more strength and less weaknesses. This way the results would be more validated and accurate.
Research Design
This research focused on the collection of secondary and primary data. The extraction of data has been done from a number of sources like questionnaire, interviews, surveys, articles, journals, internet publications and books. Mixed research aims at gathering information through different mediums like broadcast media, literature, publications and other kinds of sources that are categorized as non-human. This particular genre of research doesn't involve and kind of human subjects.
There is more subjectivity involved with the qualitative research pattern in comparison to the quantitative research methods. The qualitative methods have more room for collection of information and data in terms of both the secondary aspects and the primary ones. As mentioned earlier, this particular study is based over the mixed methods, so the research will be of an exploratory and open-ended ...
