CHAPTER 01: INTRODUCTION

Problem Statement

TTC main product are talcum powder which

Dust Pollution inside the factory which cause from the talcum powder

Temperature Inside the factory

Load and Unloading time are massive waste for the production process in the factory

Aims and Objectives

The project aims is reduce the air pollution inside the factory and to improve the production efficiency (chamber uses). In more detail, the objectives are:

To understand the air pollution management method

To improve air quality by implementing air pollution management method

To learn and understand plant layout and design principle

To reduce the idle time of the heat chambers (increase the utilization)

Learning outcome

The expected learning outcome from doing this project would be:

To be able to analyze the problem in the factory

To be able to improve the production quality

To be able to design more efficient layout of the factory

To be able to implement the principle to the real world

To be able to cope with the difficulties in human interaction

Significance

It is also shows that the high alkalinity of moist concrete can lead to the decomposition of the plasticizer when EPOXY flooring is glued onto it. However, the degree of decomposition of plasticizer is very small relative to the mass loss by evaporation, and consequently should not cause any problems for mechanical recycling. Nevertheless, decomposition products such as butanol and octanol can cause indoor environmental problems sometimes designated as “sick building syndrome”. For this reason, gluing directly onto fresh concrete should be avoided. Gluing also makes mechanical recycling less favourable owing to troublesome dismantling, and the high degree of contamination from the glue.

Scope of study

The project aims are clearly stated previously therefore the project will focus on improving air quality and production efficiently. In order to achieve this, the study of this project will base on the Air pollution and control method to solve the air pollution problem and increase the quality of the product by minimizing the contamination. The project will also include the study of SLP layout approach to improve the forklift path for the purpose of reducing the idle time of the heat furnace.

Hypothesis

Our study has shown that EPOXY floorings as plastic waste can be mechanically recycled in the form in which they were recovered without upgrading, and without the addition of new plasticizer.

Limitation and Delimitations of the Study

A major strength is that organizations were selected from a number of different industries to improve generalizability. The use of purposive sampling is another strength that is ...
