Considering the media and its power that seizes to exist over the passage of time, not only does it make way for the challenges and the problems that have been done and dusted and continues to show how media, the paper works around the theory of the spotlight fallacy.

While much has been said and done in the light of understanding and comprehending the way media works, there are many apprehensions and negative connotations associated with media, there are certain situations and circumstances that require detailed examination regarding the key factors and reasons that people have associated media with such an undermining, demeaning position.

The Spotlight Fallacy implies the situation when a strand of data has been undertaken for the purpose of highlighting and incorrectly representing a different or larger group of people or population (Shewan, p.92).

Use of Spotlight Fallacy

While it may come as something that appears to be false and not a practice to be observed, there are multiple observations that are needed to be undertaken and displayed as the most important aspect that has been undertaken and that which continues to show how people and individuals tend to practice this as a 'common' norm in their daily lives.

One important, rather critical area that observes this kind of fallacy and is a victim of it is during the clinical trials where one small group of people continues to show and display that makes way for challenging and problems, negating the results onto the rest of the population. While the legal standing of one case can direct an entirely new avenue, but it could certainly not promote and prove the challenges that occur altogether.
