Introduction

The Twilight Saga: New Moon is the sequel of Twilight, a film based on the novel of the same name by writer American Stephenie Meyer and adapted for the screen by Melissa Rosenberg. This second part of the series shows a very dark moment in the life of its protagonist, Bella Swan, a teenager facing a depression following the departure of her boyfriend Edward Cullen, a vampire, who leaves to avoid endangering your life, the situation is about his friend Jacob Black, who begins a process of metamorphosis that transforms him into a werewolf. For Bella Swan, there is one thing more important than life itself: Edward Cullen. But falling in love with a vampire is more dangerous than Bella ever could have imagined. Edward has already rescued Bella from the clutches of an evil vampire but now as their daring relationship threatens all that is near and dear to them, they realize that their troubles may just be beginning. So Edward, cut this relationship, so as not to interfere more in Bella's human life or those of their close associates. Here is when Bella suffer depression more thoroughly and know Jacob Black (Weitzman, 2009).

Critical Analysis

The saga New Moon is about Bella who is deeply in love with Edward but Edward leaves her because he thinks he's a danger to her. When he leaves Bella, Bella becomes very depressed and isolates herself from the whole community for many months. When she decides to come out of her house, she starts hanging out with Jacob, because she wants him to help her rebuild two dirt bikes. The reason why she wants to rebuild the dirt bikes is because she wants to get her adrenaline going. When she does that a presence of Edward comes to her and tells her to stop. Bella is trying to see Edward, so she does many dangerous things, such as, rides dirt bikes, gets on a motorcycle with a stranger, and jumps off a cliff into the water. During that time she becomes close to Jacob, because they spend a lot of time together trying to rebuild the dirt bikes. Then Edward finds out that Bella has died by suiciding herself, which is a lie. So, then he tries to kill himself by revealing himself to the people of Italy that he's a vampire, so that the high class Volturi branch can kill him. They are the only ones that can kill him because Edward is a very powerful vampire. Then Bella goes to Italy to try to stop him and of course she gets there on time to save him. Then they go back home and she explains to him everything that had happened to her and he feels sorry and promises her to never leave her ever again and as the film ends, it ends by Edward proposing to Bella and the end.
