It is undoubtedly true that today Alcohol abuse is the most prevalent in the world we live in and it also some long term physiological affects attached to it. The people who often consume large amount of alcohol have a high risk of suffering from serious medical issues. Different organs such as heart, liver, brain and other parts of the body are affected with alcohol abuse. Heavy consumption of Alcohol can make a person suffer from alcoholic hepatitis in which the liver of a human being is inflamed with severe pain in the stomach region. The function of the brain also gets adversely affected as the parts of the brain controlling the human behavior will no longer be able to coordinate and the alcohol will slowly deteriorate brain cells.

Heart which is among the most important body parts also gets damaged as the heart muscles thickens over time due to excess of alcohol ultimately affecting the person's health and resulting in death. Excessive use of Alcohol equally affects both men and women as it slows down the process of the body making it vulnerable to different diseases and infections resulting in death.
