Observation In Bar or Pub on Gender Differences

Research Methodology

The research method used is primary research method i.e. Observations. I believe that observation method is best for finding the situations in the Bar and Pub based on gender differences. Typically, qualitative research methods are intelligence based, exploratory and applied during orientation, and help the researches to understand the problems that concern the Customers. The range of tasks that can be solved with the help of qualitative research is very wide. Qualitative research is a set of investigative techniques whose use is widespread. It provides an overview of the behaviour and perceptions of people and helps us to study their views on a particular topic in more depth (Patton, 2002).

Findings based on Observation Method

I believe that there are various gender differences which prevail in clubs, pubs and bars globally. By gender we mean a symbolic construction that refers to the set of cultural attributes assigned to people from sex and sexual difference which constructs the social inequality. The gender difference is not a biological trait, but a mental and cultural construction that has developed historically. Therefore, gender is not equivalent to sex; the first term refers to a social category and the second to a biological category. The most common historical justification of sexism, among other justifying male domination is based on the argument that the men are naturally superior to women, not only in terms of physical strength but also in intelligence, culture, in the sciences, arts, politics, etc. This is known as' essentialism. Male dominance in the pubs can be explained by superiority of men.

Similarly, I perceive that there is enough evidence to say that in pubs women face problems of violence and dispossession resulting from their status as women, besides being the occasional target of general insecurity problems. This requires a specific look at the public safety problems experienced by the female population in the interests of a better understanding of the diversity of experiences based on variables such as age, ethnicity, disability, nationality, among others (Schmalleger, 2003).

The issue of discrimination in pubs whether on grounds of birth, race, sex, religion, opinion or any other condition or personal or social circumstance, is one of the basic rights and freedoms recognized in the Constitution. The employees at buns must be given the equal opportunities regardless of gender, race, religion and ethnicity. Employees should reach to the optimal solution. The decision must be made in relation to the known options, so that the result of the decision must affect the pub culture in a productive manner. The pros and cons of every decision should be evaluated from the perspective of cultural diversity so that no single employee and customer are infected at the pub (Schaefer, 1993).
