There would be no transcendent reason to give significance to our lives. Our inhabits would have nothing less implication than any animal or bug damaging for survival until the instant of death. All the achievements, the forfeitures, the good and magnificent things men and women do would finally be futile efforts in a cosmos awaiting its own ruin.

A widespread cause utilised to contend that the reality of a god is applicable to us is that a god is essential to have reason or significance in life.
