Promote Communication in Health Care

The health communication is defined as "the modification of human behavior and environmental factors related to the behavior that directly or indirectly promote health, prevent disease or protect individuals from harm," or as "a process of presenting and evaluating educational information persuasive, interesting and appealing that results in healthy individual and social behaviors. " The key elements of a program of health communication are the use of persuasion theory, research and audience segmentation, and a systematic process of program development. Among the theories often used to explain this process, there are models of the stages of behavior change and theories of persuasion that can be applied to different cultures and different health-related behaviors (Fulcher 2009, 90).

The work may become increasingly easier as medical personnel learn to communicate better with patients and their families, staff members and strangers with whom you share every day circumstances and efforts. To the extent that medical personnel gain experience in establishing a climate conducive to harmony and welfare of the patient, will have advanced enough to reduce anxiety and increase confidence.

Communication is vital for all people. The way someone relates may increase the satisfaction gained or cause feelings of anxiety. The ability to communicate is a process that lasts a lifetime and that is perfected while not discouraged the effort. Many countries have successfully implemented health communication to achieve high vaccination coverage, controlling anger and achieve other goals of public health (Fulcher 2009, 90).
