Introduction

Shirley Hoffman was a lady born without a left arm below the elbow. She was working in Optical Service Department at caterpillar, Inc. which provides scanning services to the company. She was performing her job properly even she was also performing her job better than her coworkers with two hands (James, 2009). Her job description included running slow speed scanner. She was performing all the functions required by her job, she was again and again expressing a desire to get training on two different pieces of equipments.
