Within the health care systems worldwide, a relatively increased attention has been directed towards human resource management. Human resource, when considered related to health care, can be explained as the non-clinical and clinical staff members who are responsible for individual and public health involvement.

The benefits and performance system that is delivered largely depends upon the skills, knowledge and motivation of the people who are responsible for the health care. The provision to provide quality patient care is one of the biggest priorities of health care institutions.

Though, there has been a lot written about the quality care, the current definitions consider the reality faced by the people at health care institutions on the daily basis practices of quality care.
