Hunting vs. Animal rights

Introduction

It is always be a controversial topic in regards of right to hunt vs. Animals rights. In their natural environment, animals behave instinctively. In the animal kingdom, there is no notion of rights. This arose in the course of human history. When we talk about animal rights, we refer to limits on the treatment of animals by humans.

General Overview

Unless we make clear that define legal limits this treatment will have no legal basis on which we judge those that cross these boundaries.

Animals are vulnerable and helpless and are fully available to human beings. Those who harm the welfare of animals should be able to be accused of violations of their rights legally granted to animals. Human beings have different kinds of relationships with animals:

Friends of the animals are kept as family pets

Some eat animal flesh as food

Some use of animals for procreative purposes

Some were left quite

The way we relate to animals and the rights they grant must have an ethical foundation. Albert Schweitzer said that ethics must come from compassion. A right that is not rooted in compassion should not be implemented as a justifiable action (Ryder, p. 6).

My Opinion

According to my opinion every living being on this world has its own life. This world is merely bound in a cycle which we called the life-cycle. If any part of this cycle disturbs, the whole cycle will disturb. As per the statement we cannot stop hunting. Hunting and eating animal is part of our lives.

Today, world is progressing at a very rapid pace. New technologies are developing, standards of livings are rising; in order to fulfills our new and standardized demands; companies are making products more rapidly in order to fulfill our demands. In order to maintain the economy, the demand and supply process are going on at an alarming rate. Likewise, companies demanding the animals parts in mass quantity. As this stages, the animals are cruelly killing are prime rate. If at this point, no one will think about the life-cycle, then soon this cycle will merely be disturbed.

Concepts that should underlie the rights of animals are among others: intrinsic value, comfort, respect, freedom, equality, compassion, etc. On the other hand, some of these concepts are inadequate if applied in practical situations. To see that concepts serve and we should not examine what criteria have to enforce the rights of animals.
