The leadership vision goes beyond your written organizational mission statement and your vision statement. The vision of leadership permeates the workplace and is manifested in the actions, beliefs, values and goals of your organization's leaders (Ward, 2009). Like defining leadership, vision also has many definitions. When one says that a leader has vision, he or she is referring to the ability to see the present as it is and formulate a future that grows out of and improves upon the present.
