Introduction

Motivation refers to the emotional and neural activity based pursuit of human goals or desirable to target objects. Motivation increases the willingness to act and is thus one driving force 'for behavior. The concept of intrinsic motivation refers to the desire to do something for its own sake (because it's fun, or special interests of a challenge). In contrast, extrinsic motivation, the desire is in the foreground, to provide certain services, because one of them an advantage (reward) promises or wishes to avoid disadvantages (punishment) (Deci & Ryan, 1985).
