Microenvironment Factors

The macro environment defined is concerned with broad trends and patterns of society as a whole, which affect all markets. It is an organizations job to carefully monitor this so that is can identify opportunities or threats to its business and be proactive. Marketing by other firms not only influence consumer responses but also affect the marketing strategies of competitors through changes in products, price.

Macro environmental Factors

The failures, marketing difficulties and financial hardships hospitals have experienced raise a question as to whether they have been responsive to the changes in the micro and macro-environmental factors. To determine how responsive hospitals have been to these changes, we investigate the impact of a number of selected factors on the supply of hospital services during 1972 through 1978. The findings indicate that despite the fact that the economy went through recessionary periods, and the demographic distribution exhibited both a shift and a change in the aging and birth rates of the nation, the changes in hospitals' responsiveness have been less than satisfactory.

The Product

Irobot deals with the sales of vacuum cleaners. A vacuum cleaner (also hoover in colloquial British English and a sweeper in eastern US dialects such as Pittsburgh English) is a device that uses an air pump to create a partial vacuum to suck up dust and dirt, usually from floors.
