Introduction of My Topic

My topic is “lack of reform to the welfare System destroying America's Future”. The welfare is a financial term that is used to help the other people in order to fulfill their needs. In 1930, the welfare system in America was established, in the time period of Great Depression. The welfare system reform is the process of reforming the welfare system by means of welfare provisions and social security. One of the most important factors to reform the welfare system was to reform the cultural system of welfare offices. My argument is based on the in-efficiency and the lack of the reforms in the welfare system that is destroying the future of America. This paper provides the essential information in order to revise the welfare system of the America (American Humane Association 1999, p.25).

The American Welfare reform lack a number of essential elements. Some lacking areas are giving below:

Lack of job accessibility

Lack of employment

Lack of training

Lack of Health Services or other support services

These lacking criteria are influencing on the overall society of America. The lack of welfare reform is because of the failure of American welfare policy. The right implications are not being conducted that are destroying the future of America (Collins 2004, p.45).

Illegitimacy

According to a recent report, the 30% of births are illegitimate. However, the birthrate among the black American is about two-thirds. This is the open evidence which associates with the welfare accessibility with the increase in out-of-wedlock births. The means of the wedlock child is the life time poverty in America. Near to all of AFDC, food stamp, and Medicaid expenses are ascribable to families that start with the birth (American Humane Association 1999, p.25).

Dependence

The inter-generational is increasing exponentially, because more than 65% American are stayed on the welfare.

Crime Rate

The family structure is destroying by the welfare reform with the contribution in crimes. The welfare contribution in crime is also breaking down the community bonds. Furthermore, the welfare reform is contributing in young black men's social marginalization by associating them with irrelevant families. However, their roles are supplanting by check of welfare (Barrett, Parsons & Gilbertson 2000, p.105)

Federal Welfare Reform

Any “reform” in the welfare system should be avoided the temptation to attempt by the Congress. No evidence or clue has been found that any of reform is popular with either conservatives or liberals that may even able to fix the flaws of fundamental system (American Humane Association 1999, p.25).

What inspire me in conducting this study?

The current situation of the American society inspired me to choose this topic. The society of America is suffering with the major crises of the poverty. Most of the people seek the different methods to get help by these welfare programs. The dependency of people is increasing, and the crime rate is also increasing.
