Islam and Christianity

Introduction

Both Islam and Christianity are monotheistic beliefs, believing in the identical god, referred to as 'Allah' by the Muslims and, 'God' by the Christians. In this sense, Islam and Christianity are considerably intertwined, appearing to come from the same beginning (Armstrong, 2002).

For Christianity, the stories about the origin of the universe are in the first two chapters of Genesis, in its holy book, the Bible. Show how God conceived the world in six days. Christianity and Islam are two of the world's most populous beliefs. Both are different in today's convictions but similar in origin.

Discussion and Analysis

There are hundreds of beliefs in this world. Of these two are the most prominent. Islam and Christianity. Is there an average of 750 million people practice Islam, and another billion to practice Christianity. The beginning of Islam is actually derived from Christianity, the history books shows that one night in 610, the first of many revelations came from God to Muhammad through the angel Gabriel (in Christianity is the same angel who brings news of the birth of Jesus, Jesus, of course, is the founder of Christianity)

The message of Muhammad was told that there was but one God (identical to the creation of the Ten Commandments), not many gods, and believed most Arabs. This God was the creator of the world (in Christianity, is documented in Genesis Chapter 1 verse 1, in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth), and one day judge mankind (This is also true in Christianity: "The Lord will judge his people." Muslims are the ones that have been submitted. The rudimentary creed of Islam is short: There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah. Islam teaches that there is one God, creator and sustainer of the universe. This God, Allah, is compassionate and just (Chauvet, 2001).

Because He is compassionate, He calls us all to believe in him and worship him. Because he is just in the last day to judge every person according to his works. On the last day, all the dead will be resurrected and either paid with paradise or penalized with hell. In Christianity one of the Ten Commandments, said: "I am the Lord God, ... ..
