The Universe is eternal entity as asserted by Jainism. It is not ever conceived therefore starting less. According to Jainism starting fewer compounds are furthermore endless. The cosmos is eternal.

However, Jainism does not accept as factual in a creator God and notion of Universe in Jainism is self supported.
