King Kong Remake

Introduction

King Kong returned in 2005. This time Peter Jackson remade the film. This person is known for The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The film featured a gargantuan, monstrous computer-generated ape. The ape was designed by the special effects company WETA Digital. However, King Kong was first screened in the beginning of the last century and is very old. Hence, the ape has been seen now on both the television and the cinema screen. These films of King Kong were widely released and were watched by many around the world (Kong is King, 2007).

The first King Kong was made in 1933. In this film, an expedition visits a remote island to find Kong, who is the huge deity of the island and a monstrous creature. Accordingly, Kong falls in love with the actress and picks her up and takes her to the middle of the jungle. Then, she is rescued and the Kong is taken to New York City so as to show in the exhibition there. She was actually offered as a sacrifice to the Kong by the island people. Finally, Kong tries to break open and escape and witnesses its fate.

In the 1930s, the film was inspired by the story of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle which was The Lost World. Later the story was written by Edgar Wallace and Merian Cooper. The story goes that there is a hero and heroine of the film. They are Ann and Jack. The gigantic animal is contained in the Skull Island.
