Abstract

The evolution of the meaning of knowledge and its connotation to a technological universe makes its way to the current paradigm of knowledge, intelligence and talent in the bond of knowledge management and the creation of a new organizational approach. In today's society, where information happens in digital and printed letterpress era, there are new ways of thinking and new ways of human interdependence and structuring knowledge, also come new ways of knowing. Drucker says that what's different about today's society is that knowledge is another resource such as land or capital, but that is the appeal.

Introduction

Knowledge is a fluid mix of structured experience, values, contextual information and internationalization expert that provides a framework for the evaluation of new experiences and information. It originates and is applied in the minds of connoisseurs. In organizations, it is often rooted not only in documents or databases, but also in routines, processes, practices and institutional norms. In it, the information can be defined as the communication of ideas or knowledge (one reporting anything) or any knowledge that is transmitted. But, in the precise sense that it acquires in the field of theory and information technology, means data, ideas or news then develop, organize and communicate. It is as a raw knowledge: those materials, words, numbers, graphics, images, documents, in general, from which we know (Luen, & Hawamdeh, 2012).

Knowledge is the information organized, with a logical consistency and empirical, that is, a set of statements that link data, facts or ideas in a systematic and methodical. Knowledge adds a plus of understanding the information with which it develops, produces a broader and deeper insight, or more useful, which is capable of transmitting social and practical application. In modern business the concept of knowledge management has become hugely different as compared to the previous generation. It occurs as a result of production information. Knowledge today can be articulated as artificial knowledge as useful electronic information, or information potential from a pragmatic perspective, so that structure, conceived and articulated in the trilogy: data, information, knowledge. Following are the factors the factors that have led to interest in knowledge management:

Restructuring and adjustments that have dissolved personal networks and caused the loss of experts with knowledge and experience to investigate, analyze problems and find solutions

Massive investment in information and communication technologies that allow better access to internal and external information to corporations, technologies that facilitate the means to create information and knowledge capture

The need for closer contact with customers

The need to disseminate and share experiences with a greater number of employees

Increased ability of employees to provide solutions

Increased interest in techniques to incorporate best practices in other corporations (benchmarking)

The need to unify and tailor responses to market globalization

The customer demand, to take advantage of the experiences anywhere in supplying corporations

The need for collaboration among knowledge workers

The need to reduce response times in product development and customer service
