Learning

Introduction

People perceive and learn things in different ways and through different channels. There are three types of learners: auditory, visual and kinesthetic. This implies to the different systems of representation as well as perceiving information through different sensory channels.

The hearing gets better the messages and information through the ear. For its part, the visual used to receive messages vision and add to their existing knowledge and its system of representation. The kinesthetic experience and prefers doing things his own way to learn and receive information.

Most of us use all these channels, but in certain situations, one of them prevails over the other. In addition to the various communication channels that exist, there are different types of learners. There have been studies on the different types of learning. Studies have determined what part of the learning ability is inherited and what develops. These studies have shown that traditional beliefs about the learning environment more favorable are wrong. These beliefs say statements like that students learn best in a quiet environment, that good lighting is important for learning, the best time to study it in the morning and learning that eating difficult. According to the information currently available there is no universal learning environment and an appropriate method for everyone.

Discussion

Forms of learning

When dealing with issues such as education has always been to take into account the different forms of learning and there are various channels for information.  To explain things a person will like to do drawings on a flip chart and other prefer to tell stories. We should not underestimate the channel through which the teacher feels predilection, and which will be used to transmit the message to students in a more natural way. However, the teacher should try to embrace and use all systems of representation of students when planning a course. The teacher has many methods at their disposal and should take advantage of the different ways of perceiving things and so students find new ways of modeling.

The types of students are an addition to the group, allowing you to change the teaching routines and methods of exposure. The teacher should take into account the different types of students when planning a material. Students should have the opportunity to use their skills through collaborative learning and group work so that they can use their own channels to convey information to others. The different ways of perceiving and expressing in a student group also promotes tolerance. Group work promotes understanding.
