Introduction

The procedure of teaching and learning in the early years of curriculum was very complicated as there were a lot of influence of politics which was not for the betterment of the of childhood education, the childhood education was under influence of the politics which was creating a negative impact on the early years of curriculum. Furthermore, the quality of the education for the preschool system is also vital as the quality depends upon the value of knowledge delivered by the teachers. The teachers can be called as the primary school of a child as children gets his awareness about the world from him. The teaching should be linked with the learning as through teachers a child learns a lot which guides a child how to behave and it also give a child a sense that what field a child should go for. (Angelis, 1999, pp 62-158) The early years of education was not like it as there were so much confusion that make the child confused about his preschool setting (Grant, 2007).

Teaching and Learning

The key model for mathematics and literacy provides direction for teachers working with children from the end of the early year foundation stage to six to seven years. It includes the areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing and mathematics. The model shows the reflections of the recommendations from the assessment of early reading and particularly that organized high quality work should be the key means for teaching and educating children to read and spell the words. The evaluation confirmed that for the majority of children this work should start by the age of five which focuses on to judgments of principled professional of practitioners. The above mentioned learning statements and goals are also mentioned under the learning strings of both mathematics and literacy frameworks, so that the teachers can see how the early year foundation stage feeds into mathematics and literacy teaching in KS1. The emotional and social aspects of learning resource that is the emotional and social aspects of learning program provides a model for growing children's economical and social skills from the early year foundation stage right through the primary school. It is the DCSF suggested emotional and social learning program for all of the primary school children and is also accessible to state nurseries with the EYFS children.
